Last December, Pastor John-William Noble of Grace Baptist Church Aberdeen took his seven-year-old son on an expedition to Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
The adventure was in aid of Doxa Theo Christian School – an institution established by Grace Baptist Church Aberdeen earlier this year.
Mt Kilimanjaro stands 5,895 metres tall, and John-William and his son Amos had to battle altitude sickness, freezing conditions, and the physical strain of hiking for seven days straight.
