A poster promoting a new album by pop singer Demi Lovato has been banned by the advertising regulator for being likely to cause serious offence to Christians.

The poster features the singer wearing a bondage-style outfit while lying on a mattress shaped like a cross.

Taken together with the album title, which is a play on a swear word, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) found the poster was offensive.
