Pastors are facing daily danger in Burkina Faso, Release International has warned, with rising numbers of pastors and church workers being targeted and killed by Islamist Fulani militants.

A widow who is known as ‘Anette’ told Release she lived with her youth worker husband and three-year-old son. She was 24 years old and heavily pregnant with her second child when Islamic militants stormed her village earlier this year.
