An elder of a house church in China has been arrested, prosecuted, and sentenced to five years in prison by the Chinese authorities.
Elder Zhang Chunlei was convicted by a court Guiyang, the capital of China’s Guizhou Province, on charges of ‘subversion of state power’ and ‘fraud’.
According to campaign group China Aid, Zhang is affiliated with the Guiyang Ren’ai Reformed Church.
