Christians have made their case to the High Court in the legal battle against the government’s imposition of VAT on private schools. 

Faith groups have cited concerns over smaller, independent schools potentially facing closure, and parents no longer able to send their children to the best possible school for them, due to schools having to raise fees to pay the tax.
