A group of Christians in Hampshire have said they will oppose a local council’s application seeking an injunction against street preaching.

Rushmoor Council is trying to restrict public evangelism within the town centres of Aldershot and Farnborough.

However, the Labour-run council says it will temporarily halt its application for an injunction after a backlash from Christians and politicians.
