Deeside

Christ Church Deeside has appointed Stuart Olyott to be its part-time, interim pastor. Dr Olyott began his ministry in September. His remit is to do 50 per cent of what a full-time pastor would do, for a period of up to two years, during which time the church will seek to settle a new pastor.
Stuart Olyott is known as a preacher and author. After 35 years in pastoral ministry, he spent his last ten years before retirement in theological teaching and as Pastoral Director of the Evangelical Movement of Wales.
Since retiring in 2008 he has concentrated on speaking at pastors’ conferences abroad and on writing, as well as being active in Christ Church.
Christ Church Deeside is an independent Reformed church in Shotton, North Wales. It was founded in 1975 by the ministry of Peter Milsom, now of Affinity and UFM Worldwide. The church is in fellowship with the Associating Evangelical Churches of Wales.
