In case you haven’t heard, earlier today the Court of Appeal handed down a very welcome ruling in the Kristie Higgs case. She was fired from her job because she used social media to raise concerns about extreme sex education and transgender indoctrination being used in her child’s Church of England school. Her dismissal was initially upheld by an employment tribunal. But now the Court of Appeal says it is unlawful for an employer to sack someone just because they have expressed a religious (or other) belief that people don’t like.
