As someone who has given talks about Helen Cadbury, I was delighted to see this volume appear, as there has been relatively little written specifically about her before. Fittingly published on the 200th anniversary of her grandfather founding the famous chocolate company, his and his sons’ Quaker philanthropism forms the backdrop to Cadbury’s upbringing and conversion.
