The guest speaker for this year’s conference at Spring Road Evangelical Church (SREC) was a former Spring Road member, pastor Mike Judge of Chorlton Evangelical Church.
In the first session – ‘How did we get ourselves in this mess?’ – Mr Judge traced the roots of this worldview to the Garden of Eden. He showed that its advocates, just like Adam and Eve, seek for something which superficially looks good, and which they think will give them wisdom and make them like gods, but is in fact founded on distrusting the words of God himself.
