What a joy to read this little book! Hebrews 12:2 tells us that for the joy that was set before him, Jesus endured the cross. Surely a book that sets out to describe from the Bible the life-changing power and wisdom of God in not sparing his Son on the cross is to be received joyfully and enthusiastically, especially when it is written with the warmth and clarity that Geoff Thomas brings to it.
