The Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches has appointed Trevor Archer as its new full-time director of training. Rev. Archer is senior pastor at Chessington Evangelical Church, where he has served since September 1986. Angus Cameron of Carrickfergus, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland, has accepted a call to the pastorate at Spring Meadow Baptist Chapel, Cradley Heath, West Midlands. The induction is planned for Saturday 4 September. Performance outreach company Saltmine’s chief executive Phil Collins has accepted the position of campus pastor at Kelowna church in British Columbia, Canada. The Saltmine board has announced the appointments of David Robinson as chief artistic director and Rachael Orrell as executive chair of the Trust. TheChurches’ Child Protection Advisory Service has expanded its safeguarding services with two new safeguarding and policy advisers, Justin Humphreys and Claudia Bell. The tasks involved include policy development and providing safeguarding support, training, advice and counselling.
