Oak Hill College
Oak Hill College, London, has appointed Charles Anderson to teach New Testament along with New Testament Greek and biblical Hebrew. The appointment follows the return of David Peterson to Australia.
Charles is completing a doctorate of philosophy at the University of Cambridge, where he was also Undergraduate Tutor in the Faculty of Divinity. Prior to that he gained a Masters of Divinity in Biblical Studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois, USA.
While at Trinity he was assistant to Professor D. A. Carson, where his responsibilities included serving as a guest lecturer, and editorial preparation of the book Justification and variegated nomism: Volume 2 – The Paradoxes of Paul.
His publications include Everyday theology: How to read texts and interpret trends (edited with Kevin J. Vanhoozer and Michael J. Sleasman) and a number of essays and book reviews.
Charles’ most recent pastoral experience is as a volunteer leader at Christ Church Cambridge, where he has contributed in preaching, leading evangelistic meetings and small-group discussions, and teaching an adult education course.
Charles is a native of Kansas City, Missouri, USA. He is married to Erin and they have one young son.
