Reformation Christianity

From 11-12 November, Bawtry Hall will host the fourth men’s conference to discuss Reformed doctrines from a practical perspective.
The three previous conferences have had delegates from mainland Europe, as well as the UK. Previously we used the conference name ‘A defence of Calvinism’, but this year it will be called ‘Reformation Christianity for today’.
The conference is led by Rev. Dr Kevin Bidwell of Sheffield Presbyterian Church, and there are other participants also.
Suggested topics this year include devotions from the biblical languages; the Lord’s Supper; the theology of Augustus Toplady’s hymns; an analysis of a Samuel Davies sermon; and an exploration of what it means to hold to a Reformed doctrine of the church.
