In June, an anniversary service was held by Ryedale Evangelical Church in Pickering, North Yorkshire. Thanks was given to God for his establishment and sustaining of the fellowship for four decades.
The minister, William Horsburgh, gave an overview of the church’s history, tracing its beginnings to the unexpected conversion of one of its original members in Sheffield in 1968, and through her the conversion of her husband, neighbour, and others.
