We live in a culture that isn’t exactly welcoming to evangelical Christianity. Believers who hold to biblical teaching on human sexuality, gender identity, or the sanctity of life face a hostile environment. It is getting harder to share the gospel in a society which regards evangelicals with scepticism and suspicion. Is that new? Not especially. Genuine, Christ-honouring, gospel-proclaiming Christianity has always faced opposition. In that regard, there’s nothing new under the sun.
