Two British teachers have won the right to take their separate cases to the Court of Appeal, following years of legal wrangling.

The first case is that of Kristie Higgs, a Christian school assistant who was sacked and had her Christian beliefs compared to Neo-Nazism for opposing transgender ideology and sharing a petition against compulsory sex education on social media.

Supported by the Christian Legal Centre, Kristie Higgs, 47, has been locked in a high-profile five-year legal battle with her former bosses at Fairford Secondary School in Gloucestershire.

The Rt Hon. Lady Justice Elisabeth Laing has now given Higgs permission to take her case to the Court of Appeal, stating, ‘All the grounds of appeal are arguable with reasonable prospects of success.
