It has been ten years since Yorkshire Camps was established to ‘Share Jesus Christ with children and young people’ through residential camps.

The idea was simple: invite children and young people – churched and un-churched – from schools and churches, give them a great holiday, and each day take time to read and explain truths from God’s Word.

As we do this, we help young people see Jesus and the beauty of the gospel message. This has always been an integral part of each day on camp.

Initially hiring Scout Centres and without a name, Yorkshire Camps was launched in Easter 2013 as ‘Leeds Easter Camp’.
